David and Greg are about to start their stroke round.
They are waiting on the first tee for the players ahead to play their second strokes.
Greg asks David what club he intends to use and David replies with "I'm going to use my 4-iron given the windy conditions".
There is no penalty to either player.     [REF: 4S1458]

In a stroke round, Jill is playing with 13 clubs.
Jill's longest club (her driver), is accidentally damaged (shaft broken when a maintenance vehicle ran over it).
Without delaying play, Jill grabs a lob-wedge from her locker.
If Jill keeps the damaged driver in her bag, she may still use it's original length to determine the size of relief and teeing areas.    [REF: 4S1545]

In a stroke round, David and Greg are both on the putting green where David has marked and lifted his ball.
Greg's errant putt looks like it might strike a player's glove that has been accidentally left on the putting green.
Whilst Greg's ball is in motion, David moves in quickly and lifts the glove to prevent any interference.
David gets a 2-stroke penalty.   [REF: 4S1471]

David and Greg are playing stroke.
Greg has been requested (by David) to mark and lift his ball from the general area as it could interfere with David's next stroke.
When Greg puts his ball back into play, he drops it instead of placing it (does not come to rest on its original spot) and then makes a stroke (marker has been removed).
Greg gets a 1-stroke penalty.       [REF: 4S1517]

David and Greg are playing as a side in a four-ball stroke round.
They have entered the scores for each player on each of the holes.
On the fourth hole they had entered a score of 4 for each of the players and a signed card is submitted.
The Committee discovers that David's score on the fourth hole was in actual fact 5, and not 4 as recorded.
The side is disqualified from the round.      [REF: 4S1533]

David and Greg are both on the putting green where David has marked and lifted his ball.
Greg's very errant putt looks like it might strike a player's glove that has been accidentally left on the putting green.
Whilst Greg's ball is in motion, Greg instructs David to lift the the glove to prevent any interference, which he duly does.
If David had not lifted the glove, Greg's ball would have most likely struck the glove.
Both players get a 2-stroke penalty.      [REF: 4S1532]
