Jill's ball has come to rest on a stationary maintenance vehicle which is parked in the middle of a red penalty area (no water).
Before Jill gets to her ball, the maintenance vehicle is driven to a spot which is now out-of-bounds and her ball is still in the vehicle.
Jill's ball is not out-of-bounds, but she must take penalty area relief.     [REF: 4S1541]

During a stroke round, both David and Greg play their second strokes (from very close to each other) onto the putting green.
David then asks Greg what club he had used for his second stroke. Greg responds with the club he had used and why he chose it.
As this is stroke play, both players get a 2-stroke penalty.        [REF: 4S1537]

David and Greg are both on the putting green where David has marked and lifted his ball.
Greg's very errant putt looks like it might strike a player's glove that has been accidentally left on the putting green.
Whilst Greg's ball is in motion, Greg instructs David to lift the the glove to prevent any interference, which he duly does.
If David had not lifted the glove, Greg's ball would have most likely struck the glove.
Both players get a 2-stroke penalty.      [REF: 4S1532]

Playing stableford, David's tee stroke could be at rest in a red penalty area or could be lost in the thick vegetation outside the penalty area.
David declares and plays a provisional ball to the same part of the course.
Within the 3-minute search time, David finds both balls in the penalty area but is unable to determine which one is which.
David estimates where his original ball entered the penalty area and compliantly drops a ball using the lateral penalty area relief option.
He now makes a stroke at that ball. His next stroke will be his sixth.      [REF: 4S1516]

Liz's ball has come to rest wedged under a rock in the general area and has no reasonable stroke.
There is a live dangerous snake resting on top of this rock.
Liz is entitled to free 'Dangerous Animal Condition' relief.      [REF: 4S1527]

In a stroke round, whilst playing the seventh hole, Greg, believing he had started with 13 clubs adds a 7-iron to his bag without delaying play.
He completes 3 more holes then realises he now has 15 clubs (actually started with 14).
Greg, immediately (and correctly) takes his 7-iron out of play, then continues with his round.
Greg is disqualified.     [REF: 4S1534]

In a stroke round, Liz's second stroke on a hole has come to rest in an abnormal course condition No Play Zone.
She plays a poor stroke from that position, which remains in the NPZ.
From there she now plays to the putting green.
Liz's next stroke will be her:        [REF: 4M1034]

Greg and David are playing as a side in four-ball stroke round and are sharing a caddie. The other side is Steve and Wayne.
Whilst walking down a fairway, the shared caddie lifts a stray ball which is then determined to be Wayne's ball in play.
Without penalty, the ball must be replaced only by Wayne, Steve or the shared caddie.     [REF: 4T1035]

Coin Toss

David is playing stroke.
During the playing of the fifth hole, David adds a 8-iron to his bag (from the locker room) without delaying play as he thought he started with just 13 clubs.
Before David starts the sixth, he realises he has been playing with fifteen clubs (actually started with 14 clubs).
He immediately removes the added  8-iron (correctly) and continues playing.
What is David's penalty?       [REF: 4M1036]

Golf Clubs

Greg and Liz are playing stroke and Greg's ball is at rest on the fringe of the putting green (general area).
He has been asked by Liz to mark/lift his ball as it could interfere with Liz's next stroke. Greg obliges.
By accident, Greg replaces a different ball and removes the marker.
Before he can make a stroke, a gust of wind causes that ball to move about 60cm (2 feet) coming to rest in the general area.
Greg now realises he had incorrectly substituted a ball. He marks the ball's position (in it's current location) and replaces his original ball and removes the marker.
Greg now makes a stroke at that ball.
How many penalty strokes (if any) does Greg get?     [REF: 4M1028]

Marking Golf Ball

In a stroke round, Liz's tee stroke could be lost in a red penalty area or could be lost in the thick vegetation just outside that penalty area.
Liz declares and plays a provisional ball to the same area of the course.
Liz finds both balls in the penalty area but is unable to determine which one is which.
Liz estimates where her original ball entered the penalty area and compliantly drops a ball using lateral penalty relief.
Se now makes a stroke at that ball. She takes 4 more strokes to hole out then starts the next hole.
What is Liz’s score for the hole just ‘completed’?     [REF: 4M1041]

Liz and Jill are playing stroke.
Liz has holed out with a score of 4. Jill's fifth stroke has come to rest overhanging the hole.
Before the 10-second wait-time has expired, Liz taps Jill's ball back to her.
Jill replaces the ball on the lip of the hole and is at rest. Within a few seconds (less than 10), the ball falls back into the hole.
Jill retrieves the ball and both players start the next hole.
Which of the following is the correct score for the hole?      [REF: 4M1020]
