After completing the first 4 holes (with the 2 caddies) he continues discussing strategies with them.
It now comes to Greg's attention that having 2 caddies is not permitted.
He immediately 'de-employs' one of the caddies, starts the fifth hole and continues playing out the round, using just the one caddie.
Before submitting a score, the situation is discussed with the Committee.

Both balls are on the putting green. David has had 5 strokes and Greg has had 4 strokes.

David's score is zero points for the hole and his hole is completed.
David leaves his ball where it is and Greg then putts.
His errant putt strikes David's ball and Greg's ball is deflected into the hole.
Greg retrieves his ball from the hole and both players start the next hole.

Without getting permission, the caddie marks, lifts and cleans Liz's ball.
The caddie also replaces the ball, then Liz plays it.
