Playing stroke, David's ball, played from the general area, is deliberately deflected by Greg whilst it is still in motion.
David estimates his ball would have come to rest on the putting green.
Without penalty, David must place the original ball on the spot where he estimates it would have come to rest without any deflection.        [REF: 4S1456]

Playing stroke, Liz's tee stroke has come to rest in an abnormal course condition No Play Zone.
She plays a poor stroke from that position, which stays in the NPZ.
From there she now plays to the putting green.
Liz's next stroke will be her fifth.     [REF: 4S1544]

David is playing stroke.
David's approach stroke to the putting green hits a tree and is deflected coming to rest against his buggy (in the general area).
In removing the buggy, the ball moves and he replaces the ball.
There is no penalty.   [REF: 4S1451]

David and Greg are playing as a side in a four-ball stroke round.
They have entered the scores for each player on each of the holes.
On the fourth hole they had entered a score of 4 for each of the players and a signed card is submitted.
The Committee discovers that David's score on the fourth hole was in actual fact 5, and not 4 as recorded.
The side is disqualified from the round.      [REF: 4S1533]

Liz's ball has come to rest (in the general area) against a course water controller.
She decides to take free relief from this obstruction.
Liz must mark her ball before taking relief, but does not have to use that ball for the dropping process.  [REF: 4S1540]

Liz is playing stroke and carrying her own bag (good healthy stuff).
Whist playing a hole, Liz stands her bag near her ball.
Whilst working out how to play her next stroke, a gust of wind blows the towel that Liz has placed on top of her clubs on to her ball (at rest in the general area) causing it to move.
Liz gets a 1-stroke penalty, and her ball is replaced.     [REF: 4S1446]
