In a stroke round, Greg's tee stroke has come to rest on the putting green.
His next stroke is strong and comes to rest in a yellow penalty area situated well below the other side of the putting green.
Greg best estimates the point of entry and drops a ball into a 2-clublength lateral relief area.
Before making a stroke, he lifts the ball and places a different ball on the spot from where his putt was made from (on the putting green).
From there he holes out with 2 more strokes, then tees off on the next hole.
What is Greg's score for the hole.       [REF: 4M1029]

Penalty Area

Liz and Jill are playing stroke. Liz has holed out with a score of 4.
On the seventh hole, Jill's fifth stroke comes to rest overhanging the hole.
Before the 10-second wait-time has expired, Liz taps Jill's ball back to her.
Jill replaces the ball on the lip of the hole and is at rest. Within a few seconds (less than 10), the ball falls back into the hole.
Jill retrieves the ball and both players tee-off on the next hole.
Which of the following is the correct score for the seventh hole?      [REF: 4M1020]

Liz and Jill are playing as opponents in a singles handicap match.
Before they tee off on the first hole (a non-handicap hole for both players), Liz tells Jill she has a handicap of 12 when her correct handicap is 11.
Jill advises Liz her handicap is 10 and this is correct.
Jill plays first from the tee. Just before Liz plays, she realises her mistake and advises Jill of her correct handicap of 11. They complete the first hole with Liz winning it.
Before either player starts the second hole, Jill advises Liz she will request a Ruling on Liz’s handicap error/correction. The match continues and is completed with Liz still 1-up.
Before the result is announced the Committee should Rule that Liz is disqualified.  [REF: 4T1039]

David and Greg are playing as opponents in a match.
Greg accidentally (not initially noticed by David) tees off from outside the teeing area (wrong set of tees) and his ball has with certainty come to rest out-of-bounds.
The stroke is not cancelled by David, so Greg must put a ball into play at the spot where his stroke was made from.      [REF: 4T1065]

Men Teeing Off

Greg and Liz are playing stroke and Greg's ball is at rest on the fringe of the putting green (general area).
He has been asked by Liz to mark/lift his ball as it could interfere with Liz's next stroke. Greg obliges.
By accident, Greg replaces a different ball and removes the marker.
Before he can make a stroke, a gust of wind causes the ball to move about 60cm (2 feet) coming to rest in the general area.
Greg now realises he had incorrectly substituted a ball. He marks the ball's position (in it's current location) and replaces his original ball and removes the marker.
Greg now makes a stroke at that ball.
How many penalty strokes does Greg get?     [REF: 4M1028]

Marking Golf Ball

Playing stroke, Jill's ball is unplayable in a bunker.
She decides to take back-on-line unplayable penalty relief outside the bunker and drops a ball on that (imaginary) line but comes to rest in a wrong place.
Jill then chooses a different place to drop a ball (on the line), about 3m (10 feet) further from the hole and drops a ball correctly using that place on the line.
Jill now plays that ball to the putting green.
How many penalty strokes does Jill get?       [REF: 4M1035]
